The Frater Award was established in 1997 in recognition of the contribution of professional artists and presenters to Public Education. The awards namesake, June Frater, was a dynamic, effective and committed co-ordinator who had a long standing relationship with the Performances for Schools program from 1987 - 1994. She unfortunately passed away due to a terminal illness. The Frater Award is a tribute to performers who have the same commitment, drive and sense of excellence. The recipients of the Frater Award have all received highly appreciative
feedback from schools.
RAPS is proud to be the recipient of the Frater Award for the years 2002, 2003 and 2004.
